OS.02 Proposal Development & Report Writing

About local NGOs

Most NGOs depend on external parties such as funding agencies for the support needed to implement their activities and achieve their missions. The number of NGOs in Indonesia has dramatically increased over the past few decades, and there is increasing competition for access to the limited sources of support for work. Therefore NGOs need to be able to clearly communicate their objectives, plans, commitment and ability to achieving results to be able to access support.

IDEP’s trainings directly contribute to increasing the capacity of Indonesian NGOs, providing clear benefits to those that are serious about organizational professionalism

The role that Indonesia’s NGOs play

Most NGOs need skills and capacity building to communicate their ideas effectively through concise and logical proposals. They also need to be able to demonstrate their accountability by writing informative reports that can be easily understood by their supporters. Combined with effective programs that are making a concrete difference for program beneficiaries’, proposal development and reporting skills are the main key to ensure continuing support.
